LETSIBOGO GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL

 Introduction

Letsibogo Girls' High School was established in 1988 by the founder and present School Headmistress Mrs. Ellen Kondowe. It is a girls- only school with the present enrolment of 966 learners from grades 8 through to 12. The staff establishment stands at 46 male and female personnel, 3 general assistants, 2 computer tutors and 2 administration assistance. Of the 39 personnel, there is one headmistress, 2 deputy principals, 4 heads of departments and 32 educators.

The school is located in Zone 3 Meadowlands, and comprise of four blocks A, B, C and D as well a cottage house. There are 45 classrooms that include 3 Physical Science, Mathematics and Life Science laboratories respectively, 2 computer laboratories, 1 Science resource centre, 1 Consumer Studies Centre, Technology centre, Art & Culture centre, an Accounting centre and a Geography centre. The challenge is that these centres still run short of the necessary resources and equipment.
